Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighter Review

Hello, this is Nitro. I am reviewing the last of the winter line- Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighter. It is a limited edition set, comes with Mace Windu, Tactical Droid (New), R8-B7, and two regular Battle Droids. The vehicles are his new starfighter, a new speeder, and two STAPs.





Review
I think this is a very good set to have. It is a limited edition, so it is better. One minus is his Starfighter, falls apart very easily. But otherwise, it is a good set to have. The SNOT, or the Tactical Droid's Speeder, is very nice. The two STAPs are the same, expect they put in some new peices instead of the old ones.

Mace Windu's Starfighter

I like the colors, but the only problem it falls apart very easily. Mostly the engines, and there are guns on the bottom, but they don't shoot as well as some like Darth Vader's TIE Fighter.

FlitKnot

The Tactical Droid Speeder makes the set. It has good parts, and very well built. It is very durable, does not fall apart as easy as the Starfighter. It has some new parts, like the seat, and some old ones.

STAP

The STAP is nothing new except for a few new pieces. this is the second set it has come in, the first one was over 5 years ago in the Gungan Swamp Set.



Minifigs







 Mace Windu (Without Lightsaber)

I think Mace Windu is good to have for collection. They said they would make him different, but they did not. His Lightsaber attaches to his Starfighter.

Tactical Droid

I like the Tactical Droid, this is the first set he is in, and most likely the only. He has new blue legs and arms, and when you have battles, instead of General Grievous, Count Dooku or Asajj Ventress all the time, this is more suitable.

R8 -B7

R8 - B7 is Mace Windu's Astromech. This is the first Astromech dark blue and gray. I think it would be more useful for more then just Windu's Starfighter. The detail is very good.

B1 Battle Droids

The Battle Droids have nothing new, but in a separate pack, at the bottom of the box there is extra sraight arms and guns. They go on STAPs chasing Mace Windu.

Why Delayed in North America?

We think it is because of an issue with the Droid guns that did not get in the North America sets. But don't worry, it is now in North America, but not yet in stores.
